ChromeFree leather is supple and light. Coming from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process in which no chromium, heavy metals or dangerous acids are used. Simplifying the tanning steps reduces the use of chemicals and energy, as well as reducing the use of water by about 40% and salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.
